Personalized Training Opportunities

Whether your goal for 2023 is to improve your knowledge of EFI systems, improve the quality of calibration work you are doing, or make your shop more profitable by saving time while tuning, we have you covered. Instead of taking time away from work to travel, we can bring the classroom to your laptop with individual 1-on-1 training sessions available over Zoom. This lets you see the same material, speak directly with Greg Banish, and ask you questions along the way without interruptions. you get personalized training tailored to exactly what you want to learn, all without booking a flight or leaving your shop.

Topics are not limited to existing class materials either. If you are familiar with the underlying concepts, we can go MUCH deeper than most most trainers are prepared to go. Once it’s clear that you understand how the system works, we can look at practical examples to see the ECU in action. You can bring your own calibrations, datalogs, and screen share so we can examine them together and figure out exactly what is happening as you learn lessons that will serve you for years to come.

Signing up couldn’t be easier. Just email directly to Greg@calibratedsuccess.com and we’ll find a time slot that works. Cost is $225/hr for the world’s best calibration training brought right to your own office.

Calibrated Success Fuel Injector Test Bench Now Supports 9 Different Plug and Play Data Formats

Calibrated Success continues to set the bar for calibration data.

With our latest update to the online data processing tool, we have added support for additional output formats. Direct plug and play data can now be generated on demand for Subaru, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Nissan ECUs from the same raw data collection using our bench.

We have also refined our existing formats with improvements in accuracy and added scaled flow values for GM tuners working with high flow rate injectors in the limited ECUs.

Click on our Fuel Injector Test Bench page and scroll down to view sample files in each format to see exactly what you get from the online tool. Results are available in just minutes, delivered direct to your inbox for easy distribution to your users or copying into your tuning software in house.

Starting with accurate fuel injector characterization data has proven to save hours of valuable dyno time during the calibration process. Calibrated Success been demonstrating this for over 17 years and now you can have the critical (and ACCURATE) data in just minutes for a single injector set and ECU using our tools.

Webinar #4 Ford Speed Density Tuning

Our fourth online LIVE training event will be held Monday, September 19, 2022 1-3pm EST. This one will focus on the Ford Speed Density model that originated on the Australian vehicles and has evolved into the highly flexible model used in today’s EcoBoost systems and Coyote trucks. We will take a look at how this system is fundamentally different than most popular speed density ECUs and show you the critical relationships that make it work. Learn how to understand where you currently are in this complex model at any time and make the right adjustments with confidence.

Registration for this live closed ZOOM session is required in advance. Cost is $95. contact Greg@calibratedsuccess.com to join.

Webinar #3 Ford VCT Controls

Our third live webinar event will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 1-3pm EST. This time, we will focus on the Ford variable camshaft control systems. We will use HPTuners software to look at how different generations from the 3v “dual equal” to the EcoBoost and Coyote “Ti-VCT” versions of this control work in the EEC. Learn the effects on airflow, spark, and torque along with how the EEC compensates in different strategies.

Registration for this live closed ZOOM session is required in advance. Cost is $95. contact Greg@calibratedsuccess.com to join.

Webinars Incoming!

Webinar #1 will focus on a topic that confuses many tuners (and even engineers) when working on idle, fueling, variable cam timing, traction or boost control. It doesn’t have to be that complex. I took the heavy math out of PID Loop tuning and put together a webinar that teaches the underlying concepts with practical examples. Learn what proportional, integral, and derivative really mean and how best to tackle them without sitting through 8 credit hours of engineering school.

This session will be held via private ZOOM link on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 1-3pm EST. Cost is $49 to join.

Email greg@calibratedsuccess.com for registration.

Book #3 on the way!

My friends at CarTech Books talked me into writing another book. This time, the focus is on emissions and diagnostics. You’ll still see plenty of calibration material in this one as we talk about what it takes to make performance vehicles pass today’s LEV3 emissions standards while keeping all diagnostic monitors happy. Look for it on the shelves early next year.
