Over at CarTrainingOnline.com about a month ago, we got reports that our video streaming paywall provider’s server vendor abruptly closed their doors and shut down all access to the servers where you accessed your purchased Calibrated Success/Detroit Technical Media videos. To compound matters, one of the team members who built the paywall technology, Robert Klug passed away a few years ago and the ownership changed hands to some really nice guys, who sadly couldn’t get our video service fixed on their new server farms.
Ultimately, it’s on Dave and Greg to get this sorted. We FINALLY did these past few weeks, thanks to our new full stack developer and his amazing back-end web and video provider skills.
We felt like we owed our loyal streaming customers a solid for being so patient. So, as we restored their accounts, we decided to give every one of them access to EVERY VIDEO we had on the old site! If you have an existing login over at CarTrainingOnline.com make sure you check your inbox for details on how to log back in, reset your password, and enjoy your newly upgraded access to our entire existing video library for FREE.
So, while the new site looks just as dopey as the old site (for now), we NOW have the ability to add our NEW content much easier going forward. We also have some great additions planned for the future. Part of this includes an option for new customers to select a subscription to our entire library for HALF OFF right from the start. Our existing customers will also be able to select an unlimited subscription to new videos at a discount as well when they are ready to go even further with their learning.
